Sanjay Sharma
Sanjay Sharma affectionately known as Sanjay or SS, is an alumnus of Udaipur School of Social Work, Rajasthan (1984 batch) with over 39 years of extensive experience in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Contract Labour Management, Administration, and Safety-Health services across diverse sectors.
Sanjay’s career spans roles in cement (Lakshmi Cement - Jaykaypuram), construction (L&T), and mining & smelting (Hindustan Zinc Ltd/Vedanta), with international exposure in Nigeria (Delta Steel of Global Steel Holding Ltd.) and Armenia (Ararat Gold Recovery Company).
Sanjay began his career as a Junior Officer HR in 1985 and advanced to the position of Chief Personnel Officer at Hindustan Zinc Ltd, Udaipur, Rajasthan. He also holds a certification as a "Coach" from CFI, Chennai.
From June 2020 to August 14, 2024, Sanjay served as the Chief Executive Officer for Skill Council for Mining Sector, an entity established by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) in New Delhi.
Apart from his core competencies in HR, Sanjay excels in solving business challenges through employee participation and innovation, managing employee concerns, and adeptly handling multiple unions. His strengths lie in change management, employee engagement and industrial relations.
With vast experience across diverse sectors and multiple locations, Sanjay has now redirected his focus to HR CLINIK. Here, he aims to leverage his extensive hands-on experience to assist industries, academic institutions, and HR professionals.
